The Boston Language Institute seeks a salesperson to spearhead a proactive corporate sales division.

Founded in 1981, The Boston Language Institute provides instruction, translation and interpreting services in over 140 languages, from Arabic to Zulu.® We offer seminars in cross cultural orientation for companies and governmental agencies doing business abroad. We also offer an English teacher training, or TEFL Certificate Program, which has trained over 1900 teachers, hundreds of whom now form an international teaching community in about 30 countries around the globe. We have an enrollment of up to 3000 students per year.

We are looking for a corporate sales representative to expand our market share, especially in our translation division. We seek a team member whose creative fires are fueled by challenge, someone who knows how to build a system and work it and, perhaps, ultimately manage a sales team.

Longevity is a hallmark of The Boston Language Institute.

You will be joining a friendly, diverse and dynamic international team hailing from countries the world over. Among our senior staff are people beginning their 14th, 16th and 22nd years, not including the founder and president and more recent staff, some of whose tenures range from 5 to 7 years. Many of our roughly 120 teachers have been with us for 5 to 20 years. We are looking for someone who wants to grow and prosper with us over the long term.
Compensation will be highly incentivized and include benefits.
