Summer Group Immersion Program - A full immersion in a foreign language and cultureGroup Immersion Programs are designed to teach the equivalent of levels 1 to 5 of the Institute's classes in one four-week, 120-hour session.The main goal of the program, which meets in small classes of 4 to 12, is to help students, from day one, to increase confidence in their ability to use their new language in a wide range of real-life situations and improve their oral skills as they progress from level to level. Upon completion of the program, students can expect to feel comfortable speaking in a variety of situations and to have gained a solid understanding of the grammatical, structural and cultural aspects of the language.
The Group Immersion Program is offered in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Japanese. Additional languages are available in response to demand. Please see individual page by clicking on link for

Customized Immersion ProgramThis program is a customized course of instruction offered privately and semi-privately. The course meets for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, and is normally organized in one- to eight-week sessions.The program is taught by a team of two to four instructors who carefully select materials and plan lessons to effectively meet the student's goals and individual learning style. As with all of our programs, our Immersion Program is designed to give students confidence in their ability to use the language in a wide range of real-life language situations. Since this is a private program, it may begin at any time with a minimum of two week's notice.
