The Boston
Language Institute is one of the most diverse language schools in
the United States. In addition to Arabic, Chinese (Cantonese and
Mandarin), Farsi, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean,
Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Russian classes offered year round
on a group basis, the Institute also arranges private and semi-private
instruction in over 100 additional foreign languages, including
Dutch, Hebrew, Latin, Polish, Thai, Vietnamese, and rare languages
such as Khmer, Nepali, Tamil, Tibetan, Urdu and Swahili.

|
Since
1981, we have taught over 140 languages, including English
as a Second Language, to more than 45,000 students
with quality of instruction and client service as our guiding principles.
This has enabled us to treat each language as the only one we teach.

A typical
instructor at The Boston Language Institute is a native speaker
with years of teaching experience in this country and abroad. Our
method relies as much on the high motivation level of our students
as it does on the skills of experienced teachers. Students at The
Boston Language Institute have in common a particular reason - study,
relationship, business, or travel - which makes it important to
actually speak the language they are studying rather than merely
pass tests. |

We offer
several programs of instruction organized in different formats designed
to meet your scheduling needs. Each level in our core program of
group instruction is approximately equivalent to one-half of a college
semester of study and is available in highly effective six-week
and four-week summer sessions. |
| |
In
addition to the above programs, we offer a six-week, 90-hour Group
Immersion Program in Arabic, Chinese,
French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Japanese
(with additional languages available in response to demand).
